World Autism Day 2022- Current Affairs 2022

World Autism Day is celebrated annually on April 2nd throughout the globe. The day strives to acknowledge and promote the rights of all individuals with autism.

The term autism was used for the first time in 1908. World Autism Day was designated by the United Nations General Assembly resolution (A/RES/62/139), which passed the council in November 2007 followed by adoption on December 18, 2007.

What is Autism? A serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact. Autism spectrum disorder impacts the nervous system and affects the overall cognitive, emotional, social and physical health of the affected individual.
