DEE Assam New LP UP Recruitment 2020- 15,000 Post For LP/UP

The Government of Assam will soon publish a public notification inviting applicants to apply for various posts under the DEE Assam Department. The notification will issue under the DEE (Directorate of Elementary Education) and qualified candidates would be offered jobs in Assam Government Schools. 

Post Name: Lower Primary (LP) & Upper Primary (UP) Teachers

No. of Vacancies: Approx 15,000

Pay Scale: PB-II, Rs.14000-49000/- with GP as admissible

Essential Qualification & experiences For LP Teachers :

(a) Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

OR

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

AND

(b) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. [5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST (P)/ ST (H)/OBC/MOBC & Physically handicapped candidates.]

Educational Qualification For UP Teachers:

Assistant Teacher: BA/ B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

Science Teacher: B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and UP TET qualified in Science and Mathematics stream. and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

Hindi Teacher: BA/ B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Hindi as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

Arabic Teacher: BA/ B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Arabic as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

Assamese Language: BA/ B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Assamese as one of the subjects and Teacher UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)
