Central Academy for State Forest Service(CASFOS), Burnihat has the mandate to train newly recruited State Forest Service(SFS) Officers from various States and conduct in-service training for serving SFS Officers. Applications are invited for one post of Contractual Associate Faculty to be posted at Central Academy for State Forest Service, Burnihat as per the term and conditions are given below:

Name of Post: Contractual Associate Faculty

Vacancy: One

Salary: 60,000 per month

Age limit: The candidate should not be more than 65 years of age.

Nature of Work:
(a) Imparting training in the field of Forestry to SFS/Forest Range Officer”s as per the course curriculum.
(b) The Contractual Associate Faculty shall have to plan and liaise with Field Offices for study tours, accompany with the Officer Trainees during their Study Tours and undertake such outdoor activity as per the requirement of the training.
(c ) Any other works assigned by the Principal of the Academy.

Qualification:

(a) Retired Indian Forest Service Officers Or Retired State Forest Service Officers From Forest Department of Centra/State Government/Universities/ Autonomous Organization with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
(b) Minimum of 20 years of field erperience in forestry with the aptitude of training in core forestry subjects.

Mode of Selection:- Application received in response to the notification will be scrutinized and would be shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview and document verification with originals. Based on qualification, experience, and outcome of personal interview, the candidate would be, selected after requisite approval from the Director of Forest Education.
