Application are invited from the eligible candidate for filling up the following posts under Govt. of Assam in the Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19 on CONTRACTUAL BASIS for a period  of 7 (seven) months with fixed monthly remuneration mentioned against each posts. 



1. Senior Scientific Officer [Toxicology]No of posts: 01 
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subject. 10 years as Scientific Officer or above 
Pay: Rs. 40,000.00

2. Junior Scientific Officer  [Toxicology]No of posts: 01 
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subject. 10 years as Senior Scientific Assistant or above 
Pay: Rs. 30,000.00 

3. Senior Scientific Officer [Questioned Documents]
No of posts: 01 
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry/ Physics as one of the subject. 10 years as Scientific Officer or above.
Pay: Rs. 40,000.00

4. Senior Scientific Officer [Drugs & Narcotics ]No of posts: 01 
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with, Chemistry as one of the subject. 10 years as Scientific Officer or above. 
Pay: Rs. 40,000.00

5. Junior Scientific Officer [Physics ]No of posts: 01 
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with Physics as one of the subject. 10 years as Senior Scientific Assistant or above.
Pay: Rs. 30,000.00

6. Senior Scientific Officer [Digital Forensic Unit ]No of posts: 01 
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry/ Physics/Computer Science as one of the subject. 10 years as Scientific Officer or above.
Pay: Rs. 40,000.00

7. Junior Scientific Officer [Digital Forensic Unit ]No of posts: 01 
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry/ Physics/Computer Science as one of the subject. 10 years as Senior Scientific Assistant or above
Pay: 30,000.00

Age: Candidate with 67 (sixty seven) years or less as on 01.01.2018 will be preferred for engagement.

Exam Fee: No application fee is required. 

How to apply: Application form can be collected in office of Directorate of Forensic Science Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati 19 during office hours or it can be downloaded from the website www.assam.gov.in . The candidate will have to apply to the ‘Director, Directorate of Forensic Science Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati – 19’
