* A lesson plan outlines in detail the various step which the teacher proposes to undertake in his/her class. As such a lesson plan concerns itself with the teaching of one period. Planning for a lesson means identification f the sequence and style of presentation and evaluation procedure to be adopted for classroom teaching of a lesson.

|
Entering
the classroom with a smiling face, the teacher will arrange the class in an orderly manner to create proper situation for imparting the day’s lesson. Then in order to test the previous knowledge of the pupils, the teacher will write some sentences on the blackboard and asks them some questions-
1)I am standing. (What am I doing?)
2)I am walking. (What am I doing?)
3)I am sitting in the chair. (What am I doing?)
4)In which tense my questions are going on?
Then the teacher will
announce that the questions are in the present continuous tense and it will be written on the blackboard. |
Students will cooperate
in the systematic arrangement at the class.

The teacher will write down the continuous forms of
common verbs on the blackboard as follows-
Walk- walking, Fly- Flying, Stand- Standing, Light-
Lighting. The teacher will then follow the drilling process and illustrate those sentences through action and picture in the class.
The teacher will demonstrate a chart as follows-

writing.
Then he will ask- what are they doing?
